ALegalLife is NOT a law firm and does NOT provide legal advice. The platform provides general educational information and tools to help users work more effectively with their independent attorneys. We demystify the legal system; we do not replace it.

Your use of ALegalLife, including any interactions with our AI Coach, educational roadmaps, or document vault, does not create an attorney-client relationship. The AI features generate general educational information only. You are solely responsible for your legal decisions, and you should always consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction for advice specific to your situation.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ALegalLife, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you must not use our platform. Attorneys and law firms using our directory services are also subject to our Professional Terms of Service.

3. Attorney Directory Disclaimer

ALegalLife does not independently verify the credentials, licensing, disciplinary history, or qualifications of any attorney or law firm listed in our directory. Directory listings are based on publicly available information and self-reported data provided by the professionals themselves. Users are solely responsible for independently verifying any attorney's credentials, licensing status, and suitability before retaining their services. ALegalLife makes no representation or warranty regarding the qualifications, competence, or legitimacy of any professional listed on the platform.

4. AI Features and Content Generation

ALegalLife utilizes artificial intelligence to provide conversational guidance, document summarization, and interview question generation.

• The AI provides generalized educational information, not legal strategy.
• You should not rely on AI outputs as a substitute for professional legal counsel.
• We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or currentness of the AI-generated responses.

5. Acceptable Use and Account Registration

To use certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and maintain the security of your password.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful materials to the Legal Vault.
• Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or extract source code from the platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALEGALLIFE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM; (B) ANY RELIANCE PLACED BY YOU ON THE COMPLETENESS OR ACCURACY OF THE PLATFORM OR AI RESPONSES; OR (C) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SECURE SERVERS AND/OR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION STORED THEREIN.

7. Account Termination Rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

8. Intellectual Property

The platform and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ALegalLife and its licensors. The platform is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ALegalLife and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

ALEGALLIFE PROVIDES THE PLATFORM ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Binding Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

All disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, taking place in Sheridan, Wyoming. WAIVER OF RIGHT TO JURY TRIAL. Both parties agree to waive their right to a trial by jury.

CLASS ACTION WAIVER. You agree to resolve disputes individually only. You may not bring a claim as a plaintiff or a class member in a class, consolidated, or representative action. There is a small claims court exception: either party may assert claims, if they qualify, in small claims court in Sheridan, Wyoming. Before filing any claim, you agree to a 30-day informal resolution period to try and resolve the dispute informally by contacting us directly.
